I’m sorry that I always seem to be late with these things, but I am trying my absolute best to catch up! Top Ten Tuesdays are a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is Frequently Used Words in YA titles.

1) “Bound”

Bound to YouSomewhere Bound (Foundlings Book 3)Soulbound (Engineered Magic, #1)What Lies Inside (Blood Bound, #1)Starbound

The What Lies Inside novel is part of the Blood Bound series, so I am going to include it!

4) “Dark”

Her Dark Curiosity (The Madman's Daughter, #2)Dark Communion (Godswar Chronicles #1)Three Dark Crowns (Three Dark Crowns, #1)

The first two are more NA due to them having horror elements/being full horror, but the last one is definitely YA.

5) “City”

Hollow City (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, #2)The City of Ember (Book of Ember, #1)City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2)

The romance novels above are all clean romance, and so they would all be YA-friendly.

9) “Prince” or “Princess”

10) “Castle” or “Court”

A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2)The Desert PalacePalace of Stone (Princess Academy, #2)

There are probably many more books with those titles under these categories, but I tried to only put books that I had actual read before, or plan to read in the very near future. See y’all next week!

Thanks! And yeah. I wish I could have included all the books that have like one word titles, but the word is randomly chosen from something in the book. Like “savior”, “insurgent”, “mockingjay”, “eclipse”
